Anyone know if they make purple 26" deep V's. I've seen some references to purple deep V's (700c) but Velocity's site only lists two shades of blue, red, yellow, orange black and grey. Do they really make them in purple? And if so in 26"?

they definitely make 700C in purple, but I would say it is more of a deep plum color - super sick looking. I don't know about the 26" though...sorry.

Deep plum would be perfect. I don't see that anywhere on their site either so maybe there is hope for the 26". Want to build up some purple deep V's with a Eno eccentric hub for my early 90's orange Rockhopper. Deep plum would match the logos perfectly. Be great if Ben's had em for like $50/set as they do some of the other colors.

Montano Velo in Oakland (http://www.montanovelo.com/) has built up a couple of sets. You could call them and inquire. Talk to Jason, the owner - if they exist, he can get them...

I assume that since you are building a 26" wheel that it's for a mtn bike.
I have a Surly 1x1 with their purple hubs. I ordered a set of purple rims through Bill Ron's Bike Shop and when they came in they are much more plum then the bright purple I already have. They are not the deep v's but they are the Disc specific VXC rims...awesome rims. When we called the rims just arrived stateside.....there are only 9 in the country.
Give Bill Ron a call. They are just hanging on the wall looking for a good owner. Unfortuately they won't work for my situation. Cool rims though.

I'm not going to be running disk brakes so I'm not sure that they'd work for me. They are for a mtn bike but an old one without disks. I would assume if they make one rim in purple, they'd probably make others though.

They'll generally do all sorts of custom things for you if you ask nice. You might have to wait 'cuz the custom stuff is all done down under, but they'r really good about it.

They discontinued the colored 26" wheels a while back. They may be able to some custom for you though. Give a call and ask. You'll have to order through a bike shop, but at least you'll know if its a possibility.
