If someone makes it to this and grabs me something in an XL bag, I will be so very very grateful.

too bad bums aren't connected to the web, you could totally just holler at one that's hanging somewhere in that hood right now.

Bags for buckles? So they're just free bags sitting there? Or patterns? I don't get it.

theres going to be some stylish junkies out there, and thank god too because it's about to rain. too bad they cleaned all of the hookers off of capp street way back when, or else they'd be making some hot clothing out of that material.

(if i'm reading the posts right, the contents of the boxes are: bags with buckles, bags without, patterns, material cut and uncut)

Heh, I just zipped over there and it looked like a bunch of fabric, some store display placard thingys, and a dog bed or two. Oh well...

Sweet mercy I wish I lived near you, SF!

I used to dumpster dive a lot of fabric from a gregory dumpster near my Bible College. Awesome stuff. They even had buckles and stuff sometimes.

well, most all is gone. my studio was next to the timbuk 2 dumpster for a couple years. they would throw out tons of bags, and fabric, but cut them up with a box cutter. shame, they could have the homless population doing some serious research and development for them! i gave 100 bags to my friend who makes his own, using the hardware from the cut bags. buckles, clips, straps, etc. hope some of you bike forums kids beat the junkies to the pile of goods. if not, i will be getting rid of more down the road. peace
