Hello Cyclocrossers, could you please point me to a web site that shows where cyclocross races/events are held. The best ones for a geezer, rookie like myself would be helpful.
Thanks

Us Geezer/Rookies gotta stick together, I've been entering in the Beginner/C catagory and have the average age bettered by 15 years. The other option for me is to enter the Masters 45+ but those guys are serious :o .

you should let everyone know your location so they can give you links to local races.

Check with you local bike shops, I am sure they are aware of the local cross races.
Have fun, it is a blast.

Good idea. I currently live in Southern California with approximately 20 billion other people and will be moving to Seattle area hopefully soon.
Thanks for all the help!

Seattle is a great spot to live for cross, there is a very vibrant scene here. There are almost 20 races on the calendar from early Sept. to Dec., most weekends you could race both Saturday and Sunday if you felt like it. The races of the local series usually have about 300-400 people racing (in all categories). Check out this site for more information: http://www.seattlecyclocross.com/

If you are moving to Seattle, you might look at the Portland Crosscrusade race series. It is more laid back than the Seattle series, and more accommodating to beginner racers. crosscrusade.com
