I have Mavic Kyseriums (which I absolutely LOVE) on my road bike. Just the other day someone asked me how do I true (sp?) thse type of rims, and unfortunately, I had no clue.
Does anyone have any experience with the Kyseriums?
Thanks.

Thanks for your reply Ba-Dg-Er or is it Badger? Anyway, I will have to look again, but I am pretty sure the nipples on the Ksyrium's are on the outside.
Thanks again for all your help.

Ba-Dg-Er,
Oops, sorry it took so long to get back to you on the Mavic Ksyrium info. Actually I spoke to a guy who works at Mavic and he told me that these rims are supposed to come with the tool used to true the Zicral spokes. Anyway, since my bike came with the Ksyrium's, my bike store never gave me the tool. The nipples are external, but I wouldn't personally mess with these myself since my LBS has a lifetime free maintanence on my bike. I think I will leave it up to the experts.
If you want great rims, I totally recommend these! BTW, I always wondered how to pronounce Ksyrium, since some say the "K" is silent. According to this guy at Mavic, the company made up this word and they did indeed pronounce the "K". It was someone at Bicycling Magazine that said that the "K" was silent and it is supposed to be pronouned like 'Syrium'.
Hmm....
