Hi everyone,
Like most kids in America, I got my first bike when I was around 4. At first I didn't really get it, ya know. I mean this new toy was shiney and very interesting, but it was kinda wierd. I stayedwith it though, it slowly became easier. Then, my mom said it was time to take off the little wheels that helped me ride upright. It was pretty scary. I had to go faster than I was used to. Mom said that would help. I crashed a bunch of times, and may have even begged mom to put the little wheels back on. She wouldn't do it. Not only that she wouldn't let me quit when I got tired of crashing or scared. Some where on the second day of taking off those little training wheels, everything clicked. It seemed like magic. I just had to keep pedaling fast, steer a little and the bike suddenly had a life of it's own. It was absolutely amazing! As you all know, after that Life as a kid was never the same again. I was mobile. I had new freedom and adventure. The rest as they say has been a blur.

So, here I am an immature middle-aged guy with a family, a mortgage, but I still freakin' love bikes.
