Just wanted to know what most of you are doing as far as switching the brakes so that the left brake lever works the rear brakes? Im considering switching from the standard road setup to this and wanted some input as to past experience. I figured it would make braking and dismounting more efficient. My concern is also that since "old habits die hard" and I ride my road bike mostly, that I would accidently lock up the front during a normal ride on the cx bike.
yep. i switched mine and its great. dont worry about old habits...you will get used to the new setup very quickly. it does help with dismounting. i now have my brakes reversed on all my bikes.

Switching and routing are no problem at all. I do forget about which is which when I convert to my road bike but as long as you brake gently which you should be doing anyway then it is usually not a problem. I think it's worth the trade off. I like having the reverse set up on my cross bike...
