View Full Version : Are 20" bike tires interchangable with 16" M/C tires?

Just got an old Elf (like I had in my youth) and it is equipt with 20" BMX rubber. A friend told me 20" bicycle tires were interchangible with 16" motorcycle tires. Does anyone know if that is true?

Well your freind is one screwed up person.
And why would you want mx tires on a bmx bike. They're useless at least I think so.

Yes, it's true. I use 12" inner tubes in my 20" tires, for weight savings.
