If it's like some of the other military hardware developed by big business, it will be mass produced, placed in the field, and found to be too heavy or awkward to use.

at least with the geek, you could sneak up behind him and club him over the head with your shoe. then take his gun away. the commando dude would probably whoop your ass and pump your body full of lead as you're falling to the ground with a broken neck.

I'm definately more frightened of the bottom weapon, since the top one is a "less than lethal" device, and the bottom one appears to shoot bullets (which are decidedly lethal).

I believe that's the OICW that's been in use for some time already? it stands for something or the other, but is supposed to be some system that integrates 2 rifles and a night sight/camera.

"OICU" is more like it though. how do you run with that thing?
