Thats quite an eclectic mix there.
JLH was stupendous. We really have lost something very special there. He seemed to slip away almost unoticed, just a couple of minor tributes and a line on the news. What a great artist.
I buy every recording I find. He certainly did an extraordinary amount of jamming with other artist towards the end. Everybody wanted to have him on their album.
What are your favorites?
Hey do you dig Van Morrison ?

Peter Gabriel's new one, "Up". That's spinning now. A real masterpiece, IMHO.
A.R. Rahman coming up next. Maybe a little Pop Will Eat Itself after that.

JLH? Probably the classic "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer"; although George Thorogood did a really good version of that song -- I actually got to see him and B.B. King live about a month ago. Awesome concert.
As to Stevie Ray, his brother (Jimmy, IIRC) also plays some pretty neat stuff.
Haven't listened to too much Van Morrison, so I don't have an opinion there. :D
Punk is good, but I like Industrial more. Gives me more of that ass-whoopin' feelin'. :D

george Thorogood was a revelation when I first heard him.On the `Christine' sound track I think. I haven;t heard of him for years good to hear he's still going strong. I bought every album I could track down which was about 5 I think.I'll have to rake them out and give them another listen.
If you feel like checking out Van the man I can recommend the track `Listen to the lion' its my favorite track, fades out for ages and carrys me away out of this world.

You can usually find out what I'm listening to right now by simply pointing your mp3 player (assuming it has streaming audio capability) to:

I just finished Michelle Branch's "Paper Pieces" and went into Jewel's "sensitive" so I guess winamp is on a chick music binge :p That's ok though, they've got the best voices in music today.

Now playing: The Notorious B.I.G., Ready to Die
..there's nothing like some good ol' gangsta rap at 5 AM to start the day off right! On Saturday's agenda is watching college football and then hitting the pavement for a good 40mi. Hell yeah!
