Julia had to go to work this morning so we said our goodbyes and she took off to Hollyhock. I got my things together and rode over to the school field for a game of Ultimate. There was a good showing and we had a 5 on 5 match that was intense but fun. I received directions to Blue Jay Lake Farm from Lovenas partner, Ryan after the game and cruised on over there to experience a few days on the farm. It was an easy ride but steep and rocky towards the end. I arrived and saw Lovena and Tosh. Shortly after, Ryan, Kai, Alex, and his cousin Alejandro from Miami arrived and we hung out and munched on salsa. Lovena wanted to jar some more salsa so we all set up a veggie chopping production line and made a huge batch of salsa. I picked a spot near Ryan and Lovena’s trailer to set up my tent. Kai helped me set up everything before it started to rain. We ate a great meal and had good conversation and then I retired to my tent for a good nights sleep under the sounds of raindrops falling on my tarp. (13 miles)
