Fifty Plus (50+) - mileage.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

A little quick on the trigger to close a thread. No cussing. Maybe just out there an inch but to close it. Well its not my call but i've seen at lot worst not get closed and they turn around and get very interesting with good stuff. 26,000 miles ayear on a bike is a heck of a lot of miles. I'm bad at math but isnt something like 85 miles aday for 300 days ayear? Like 5-6 days aweek? Man,i dont know.

I know that when I was running in my younger days, I was doing 100 miles a week training. Now that, even by todays standards , is excessive but I was somewhere near the top of my distance, on my type of running-Crosscountry- and if time had been available- That would have been complimented by Gym work. Except gyms were not that readily available 30 years ago.
Everyone to their own form of training but not that distance for me till I retire on time availability, and then will I want to do it?

OK
The original mileage thread is now back open.
For those of you who missed the excitement, a very negative and sort of crude name -calling post was posted. The post was removed by Lala and Konarider24 (moderators) - thanks - and the thread was closed temporarily while things settled down.
Thanks to Lala and KR24.
Back in business.
Feel free to post in the original mileage thread - "OK...lets fess up..Mileage please"
Have a great day.
