Just got back from my LBS and purchased a new Hardrock Sport. I am having them put a rigid fork, Armidillo Nimbus Tires, fenders, bar ends, and converting it to a SS. I will mainly use it for my short commute, but once a week will get used for light trail riding. I needed a bike I could jump off curbs and be rough with. I was going to go for as ingle speed Cross bike, but the way the Hrdrock fit me was great. Cant wait to ride it to work tomorow after I pick it up.

sounds exciting. I am getting a new jamis ss soon and I plan on swapping the fork for a surly 1x1. It should be nice. I hope you enjoy it, it makes the ride a bit less boring.
