Nothing new. Huffy made the same thing 30 years ago, minus the disc brakes.

[edit] Oh man, shipping weight of 51 pounds! Hope that's a 20 pound box.

Darin

Remember the Black Widow? Had to be at least 50lbs. But you were cool if you had one.

No. Sorry Darin, they were never cool. It's sad that as kids, we had 50lb boat anchors to ride, and kids today complain about 35lb bikes.

I have never complained about my 37.8 pound bike.

Brian

I don't complain about my 30lb bike, or my 25.8lb race bike. I certainly don't complain about my 38lb tandem MTB. I'll stop now, you get the idea.

I just don't get why people complain about bike weight who really cares. I don't.

wethepeople

I wont complain about my 50 pound freeride bike, or my 65 pound FULL SUSPENSION bmx bike*

The Yamaha looks familiar. It's got dual 600lb springs, right? Mine was similar, but green.

wethepeople

indeed it does. I own one and I'm in the process of restoring it, but they are a royal pain to get parts for.

Also, You should have kept yours. (http://www.geocities.com/moto_bike/PAGE2.html)
