Hi All,

Just an introduction from a new member from RI! I am a recreational biker who was introduced to the forum by a friend (Ginger).

I enjoyed a 32 mile ride today with a couple of fellow bikers Ginger met on the forum. It was a great ride and a beautiful day!

I used to live in RI, and I was wondering if you can tell me if progress is being made with the East Coast Greenway sections through the state?

I really miss riding on the East Bay bike path. I used to do it round trip every weekend.

Hi Mark,

Progress has been made in West Warwick and Cranston. The path now originates near the Crompton section of West Warwick and runs through to Cranston. I believe that eventually it will all be linked.

I am not quite sure of other improvements.

The East Bay section of the bike path is beautiful, isn't it? We rode right into Colt State Park and then to the end. It was gorgeous!

I lived in Providence for a few years and unfortunately enjoyed the place on a Vespa instead of a bike.
