I am looking into buying a '99 Specialized Allez Pro M4 alloy frame. My question is, is this a wise decision? I've heard that some aluminum and aluminum alloy frames will shake you blind. Would that be true in this case?
Thanks,
Mike
Yep.Decent frame, but not noted for it's ride qualities.Might work better if you are big and heavy.Might not either.Everyones different.
It's a great frame. I own one and love it. It is stiff but otherwise well sorted out and I don't find it uncomfortable at all.
It is a world class frame in so much as it has been used by the old Festina team in the Tour de France and all the UCI races.
If you find a good deal, I would not hesitate in buying one.
Could not give me one. No one else can tell you what works for you.If you are looking for anything resembling comfort, run away. Not a bad race frame it it fits.
