I was overjoyed that after many years of no bike work I was still able to find my chain breaker. Unfortunately there was no pin in it. Doh!

LBS's were already closed for the night.

I used a piece of concrete nail (a nail strong enough to drive into concrete). I chucked it into my drill press, where I cut it to length with a hacksaw, and used a file to slightly decrease the diameter.

Worked like a charm.
