I am trying to remove my fork form my GF Mamba. I got a used Judy and want to replace the POS suspension fork on there now. I have removed stem, top cap, spacers and undid my brake cable. ow do I get the fork out, it will not budge. Both forks are same diameter, so I know it will work if I can just get this blasted fork out. also, how do you remove the star nut. TAI

Assuming everything is properly disconnected, try a block of wood and hammer to the top of the toptube to knock it free.

And you don't remove the old star nut - you get a new one.
