Hi all,

For commuting, I'm currently running with an 'OFA' bag on my seat, and a regular pannier on an underseat rack. I'm thinking I'd like to switch to using a seat bag only. The OFA isn't big enough, and it appears to me that the brainboxes Bacchetta sell won't fit on my mesh backed seat.

It appears, from my research, that my choices are limited. The only other seat bag I've found that might do the job it the Hostel Shoppe one. http://www.hostelshoppe.com/cgi-bin/readitem.pl?Accessory=1126704342

Has anyone used these bags and can tell me how they work for commuting? I've read the review on BROL, but would like to hear some more 'real world' experience. I don't carry a lot of stuff (I leave my shoes at work), but capacity is a concern. Are they big enough? Are they easy to install and remove? Any advice is welcome.

Cheers

Yes, these are very nice bags. I've had them on my RANS bikes and am getting ready to order another one. The big compartment is quite roomy and I like the pockets on the outside for the bottles or other. They simply slip on over the seatback and cinch on with a strap and buckle. There is a little outside pocket on it too for small stuff.

I decided I didnt want to pay $75.00 for a seat bag. I found this Schwinn bag on sale at Calhoun that fits the back of the Giro seat for $9.95 on sale. Cant find it on the Calhoun site now (must have sold out). This may give you some ideas though. Works fine for commuting :

Not to divert the thread, but...How do you guys like the Giro? I am seriously considering this bike but was hoping for some owner input. Thanks!

Love it! I want to ride it all day long. When I'm not riding it, I'm thinking about riding it.

And thanks 5port, but that's probably a bit small for what I had in mind.
