I'm running ultegra everything except a compact FSA crank.
When i'm in my highest gear, (big ring small cog) my chain rubs against the outside of my FD. The adjustment screw is already maxed out. If i physically pull on the chain a little bit it moves enough to clear the chain, but if i try to use the shift lever, it just moves a bit and then goes back.
Is there any way to adjust this without unscrewing the cable and tightening it? Maybe that wouldn't be too hard but i get the feeling that if i were to unscrew it i'd be opening a can of worms and would never get back to where i started.
