good in therory but too slow in practice. if smoking killed before reporuction set in that would take care of it. think of how many people would stop smoking if it killed you within 5 years.

If you look back to a very recent history.. many mom-to-be's (maybe even yours) smoked whilst pregnant. Also, many of them had perfectly normal children (probably not you, har!).

Anti-Smoking is something that has started within the last 25 years or so. If you're older than 26, there is a good chance your mom smoked while pregnant with you.

Sure, it provides a greater risk of pre-natal problems, but it doesn't garuntee a screwy kid. Oh well, to each their own.
