Rode to work in dry -5 c. dry weather. Rode home in -3 c. slop. I only had my seat attached rear fender and man did I pay for that. Everything covered in slush and ice, I was down to 2 gears , my booties were caked in ice along with my lower front of my shin. Thanks to my garneau stopzone tights and descent booties I was very comfortable , oh yea I was on my slicks, a little slippery on the wooden bridges on the bike paths.Of course I thought of putting on my mount and grounds yesterday but this wasn't forecasted.
I'll be fendering up for sure now, never had that happen before. Got to go and dry my 6 year old raliegh serrengetti mtb.
