Can anyone tell me what model number my old Dura-Ace crank is?
7400?
7401?
7402?
7403?
I bought the crank from a bike shop in way back in 1991.

There is, but I can't see it. I'm on a long vacation and want to order a new BB for my old, old, old DA cranks (which are collecting dust somewhere in the closet). I'd like to place an order and have everything mailed and ready for me by the time I return home.

All, I know is that the crankset is one of those older model DA cranks like that used to be on the old 7-11 teams way back when. Anyway, what I really need to do is pick up a new BB, but 1st I gotta figure out what kinda crank I have. Right?

You seem to have the first or very early DA-8 crankset which had flatter crank arms which resulted in longer BB which were fitted to my Trek 5500 OCLV, sorry no longer have that bike. Around 94 they released a more rounded profile but angled DA-8 crankset ( FC 7410 ) which shortened the BB to 103mm. I recently saw some of both types of the older square taper drive stuff on ebay you may want to check there for a number.
The BB you need may have to be wider than 103mm.

The old ones used a spindle longer than the later 103.
