Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Help me I.D. awesome pump.

Hey Cabana4Life and Chicago Messenger Ben and maybe (steaktaco?) or anyone else --

C4L and Ben (both b/c I needed presta and didn't want to bother changing) lent me this awesome portable pump in chicago last weekend after I got a flat. I resolved that I would buy it immediately when I got back home b/c it kicked so much ass, but now I can't remember what the model and brand was...

The feature about it that was awesome was that it converted into a floor pump by this little plastic attachment on the side. The nozzle ran off of a hose too (just like a real floor pump). Gauge as well.

My perusing on Performance has led me to believe that this was Topeak Road Morph mini

but I wanted to check in and see if anyone knows for sure, specifically Cabana4Life or Ben (if you come here ever).

those push 100+psi with no problem

yeah, i've never been so impressed with a portable pump! just wanna make sure i get the right one!

those are cool pumps they have a gauge on them with a foldable handle. i going to order one. thanks for posting.

i have a topeak, not sure which model, small and portable though, with "smart head" technology which automatically adjusts to fit both schrader and presta. i love it

I used one twice in Chicago. Good pump. I could barely manage 100psi, but then I'm me.

that is (in my opinion) the greatest pump ever! i have one, nashbar has one for 25 bucks. and sunrisecyclery.com has one for 33 but it's free shipping so you save. don't get it off performance. they also have a mountain bike version. i love this pump more than anything else, and it ALWAYS impresses people, it's better than my house pump! im sure this is the one your friend had. nashbar has their own version too for 15 bucks but you should go with quality.

note: this pump is a better alternative to those dumb co2 pumps, those are such a waste and the air leaks out after a day. plus you have to buy and buy after each flat

The Road Morph is basically the only portable pump I recommend 'cuz you don't pull your ****ing valves out. End of story.

the co2 carts are just meant to let you finish a race, or get home, they're not supposed to be a permanent fix.

yeah i know, but it's still lame to see spandex riders carrying them on the street, cause they aren't in a race they're just riding around (and not even to work). every time they get a flat they make trash

I dunno about you...but I dont flat often enough to really worry about it, perhaps once every 1000-2000 miles...seems worth it to me, the cartriges are less than a spare tube. w/ co2 I can fix a flat in under 5 minutes and be back on the road. every other pump has been ****, unable to get to 100 or even 80...plus theres that annoying valve-tearing phenomenon that was already pointed out.

perhaps this one is different. but co2 on the road, floor pump at home is how I will roll for a long time.

ironically, I DO have that pump and it IS way cool but i've switched over to cartridges for portability.

That's because you've been buying crappy pumps. C02 seriously a waste of weight to be carrying around.
