Winter Cycling - Schwalbe studded snow tire experiences?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Does anyone have any first-hand experience with the SCHWALBE studded snow tires? I just put a pair on my winter beater bike, and I'm hoping I did the right thing.

I've got some Schwalbe Ice Spikers that I think are fine. They are very sure footed if you underinflate them just a little bit and seem to wear pretty well (carbide spikes). They are heavy and slow compared to my usual tires, but that's to be expected with big knobby spikes. I think most people prefer the Nokians to anything else but I've been happy enough with my Schwalbe's to not try the others.
Ghettocruiser, thanks for the link!
Joe Dog, thanks for the tip, but I don't have Ice spikers. I have snow studs, since my bike is a commuter instead of a mtb. But thanks anyway!
