Living Car Free - one of the hardest parts of being car free

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

the winter's sort of hard...long distances in and of themselves don't bother me. in fact, i like them.

I hear ya on the pennywise show. A good punk show will wear you out. Also I get sweaty as hell at some of those shows. Riding home wet in the cold isn't much fun.

the sweat, yes...not good. oh, crap...my old band is having an "everyone who's ever been in the band" show soon...7 of us ripping through a set of fast thrash. someone always ended up bloody or bruised at our shows (including us...broke my glasses at one show, courtesy of a bandmate's guitar), and we all ended up sweaty. i supposed i'll find out the full extent of what you're talking about for myself here in a few weeks. i typically don't get as sweaty...i nod my head and watch what the guitarists are doing, try to pick up a few licks...
