Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

so I heard that a lot of kids who wanted to join (in order to attend the bffg in a legit manner) couldn't because the site isn't accepting memberships anymore. is this true? did we use it all up on crank arm lengths?
Probably has something to do with why things are soo slooow tonight.

I haven't heard this...hmmm. Didn't they just go to a bigger server or was that just an update (not a computer geek)?
We'll never get maxed out on members. Currently, Joe's disabled the new members registration until the forum gets moved to the new server. Just tell the newbies to be to hang in there for now.

The move is not over? Maybe that's why it seems slow right now. I thought maybe there was a problem with the new server. I can wait, I just wondered. I just went from dial up to DSL at the house, at first I thought it was me.
Nope. Not over yet. Something's wrong with the server, so it's on hold for now, and the old server is nearly full.
