Hey, sorry to post this with a bugmenot.com account, my friend recommended I post here, and registration seems to be closed.

So bascially, I got a nice vintage frame off ebay, arrived about a week and a half ago. I took it to my friends house this weekend to drink some beers and paint the thing, and to celebrate my birthday which was sunday. I was about two coats away from finishing, and sunday (my birthday) my friend offered to take me out to breakfast. The bike was dry so I threw it in her trunk, and we got food, then went to her house to play video games, and I stupidly left the frame in the trunk. It's a closed trunk, so it wasnt visible, but her car got stolen while we were playing mario kart. This was from Haight and Steiner. Anyway, we're hoping they just go joyriding and ditch the car without looking in the trunk, and then noone breaks in before the cops find it. So...

If you see a gold 4 door 91 toyotal corolla, with the plate CA 2VPV102 call the cops.

if you see anyone with this frame (freshly painted white):

thanks for reading this, i miss it, and want it back, i'd been planning on building it up after messing up my last bike (and breaking my arm in 3 places) at the end of august.

Was this frame recovered or has someone else now gotten a stolen frame?

What size frame is this? I sure love the lugs. Glad you got it back. How well of condition was the car in?
