Guys,

I am in Oz (followed the yellow brick road once) so don't have access to CX bits locally. CX does not really have a following here.

Anyway, planning on building one up, and specifically need some help to source a 1" threadless CX fork - anyone got any ideas as to where I might find one at a good price.

Key attributes needed are (I will consider quality second hand ones):

1. 1" threadless (long steerer required - about 270mm)
2. relatively light
3. Canti mounts
4. cheap
5. can ship to Australia

Not really looking for anything super sexy - just functional and pretty light.

Thanks for your help,

Surly makes a 1" steel fork and their website lists a few Aussie distros. Here was a recent thread on 1" CX forks

Dimension has a good steel 1" cross fork- almost any bike shop should be able to order from them.
i'm running with the 1" disc version, and it's held up well for me.
