I need a new helmet and i want a good one for under $100. I saw the

Giro Remedy

and the

Giro Animas

Im not sure what one to get or if they serve different purposes, i couldnt find a forum that covered this.

One is full face, the other isn't...the choice depends on what type of riding you are doing and if you want your jaw/face protected. For the XC/singletrack riding I do, I don't want a full face helmet.

Ill be riding singletrack every once in a while but also alot of riding in the street

i use the Giro Xen, i really like it, its a cool looking helmet with lots of venting... a friend of mine has the animas, but i find it looks too big for my liking. The xen is more than $100usd, i think pricepoint or jenson or one of those has it for $129usd


i got mine for $50cdn :D
