I have an old, old bike that says "PACER" and "12 SPEED" on it's frame. It's blue and silver. I've done some search on the internet and the only 'pacer' I've found is Cilo brand...

Do you know what bike I have?
:)

What year could this bike be?

Describe some of the components and maybe I can narrow it down a bit. For instance, does it have aero brake levers? Does the rear derailleur mention a brand or model name? How about the cranks?

I'll give it a shot.

My guess is that any bike with a decal that says "12 speed" is just a cheap old department store brand. Perhaps one originally sold by Canadian Tire. If it has chicken levers, 27" steel rims and a 1-piece crank, it's junk-worth no more than the scrap value of the steel.
