Does anyone know what tandem magazines are still in print? I found one (can't recall the name now), but it said they are not in print any longer.

Thank you!

The only surviving publication that focuses on tandems is Recumbent & Tandem Rider Magazine: www.rtrmag.com

The Tandem Club of America publishes a Bi-Monthly Newsletter called 'Doubletalk' that is mailed out to all members. It is a compendium of member submitted articles, predominantly travel logs: www.tandemclub.org

The other tandem publications that have come and gone are:

Tandem & Family Cycling Magazine: 1994 - 1999
Double Magazine: 2 issues in 2002

Yoopers Andy & Vickie:
Recumbent & Tandem Rider Magazine will have its new issue out in a few days. Pick it up for free at many bike shops or better yet: Subscribe!
This latest issue will cover, among other things, what tandems were shown at Interbike and an article on a carbon fiber 2-seater. Mark L. usually has a nice column in R&TR also.

It's an excellent source and thanks for the website address, I just subscribed. I've wanted to do that for some time, but just didn't get around to it. Paypal is good for something.

Let me add my vote for the value of Recumbent & Tandem Rider Magazine. The information I got out of the first issue I ever saw was worth more than a subscription costs.

Hey Andy, how is the weather in the Soo; what I've seen in the last few days on the Soo Locks web cams has looked pretty disgusting.

Nah not disgusting...it's winter! :) Since our new tandem will be showing up next week, we'll be itching for spring. Got about 6-8" of the white stuff on the ground, been really cold too. Definately an early winter - we'll see how long it lasts!
