its spelled "ridges" not "rijes"
and the bumpy ones are for flatland.

I can't imagine grinding with knurled (bumpy) pegs.

the weird thing is that all of my friends besides 1 have got ridged pegs, are they are not flatland riders.and does it really make a difference?

this is what i mean by ridged its the rings going around the pegs.

well i believe the ones with ridges are usually gonna be bigger, harder to balance on some cracked concrete ledges, and not slide as fast.

smoooth pegs.
unless your talking about the pegs that have the little indented lines all the way around them (like the haro pegs) then those are fine too...

but knurled pegs (the ones with the rough finish) are for flatland (i think)

Why aren't the pegs smooth on the bottom and ridged on the top? Get some smooth ones, rough of the top half, there ya go.

wouldnt work, because in order to make pegs last longer from grind ware you should rotate them....so then it wouldnt work

It doesn't make a diffrence I grind using both, depending on what bike im using.

There are smooth pegs with ridges, they're are just crappy cheap pegs that come stock on some bikes. In order to have cutaways like that you're sacrificing either light weight or strength, and since (smooth) pegs are already both heavy and have to take a lot of abuse, there's no functional reason to run them, only aesthetics.

The shadow leans are nice. I got them on my bike now, there light and don't cost much, but there easy to tear the hell out of.

Kink OGs are the only pegs worth buying. ody pegs suck, premium sucks, animal is okay but i like kink better, and never buy ti pegs

ody pegs suck

I beg to differ. I used Kink OGs for years, but my Odyssey JPEG Lites slide just as fast on the rare occasion that I rock pegs. The Animal pegs aren't supposed to be half bad, either.

pshhh Poverty pegs.
there cheeeap (6.99 each)
there black
there smooth
and if you grind through them you can buy another pair and still havent paid as much as Kink or Animal pegs...

and animal pegs are $$$!!!
those Odyssey J-peg lighter's look like they would snap and the dropot the way that there drilled....

the only problem with the poverty pegs is that they only have one anti-spin pin...but other then that there defently worth the 7$.

j pegs grind horrible on cement. maybe they are good when they are worn down, but they suck when brand new
