Anybody know what the calorie content is for any of the following items contain?

MouthWash
ToothPaste

I don't regularly consume large amounts of the above but I have been known to swallow a mouthful of them and for all I know, each mouthful could have 1000 calories.

If a mouthful of mouthwash or toothpaste have a 1000 calories each I WANT TO KNOW!! That would be the breakthrough I've been looking for all these years!! It would only be a small step to compact a mouthful of those products down into a pill form, which would solve my calorie intake problems on my long rides, and in life in general. Combine those calories with vitamins and minerals (especially ones like Vit. C, and the electrolytes) all into one pill, and I could happily live on it.

I dislike food. I dislike eating. I dislike that we have to eat. A pill would solve all of those problems! We could do away with grocery stores and grocery shopping and cooking and eating! Life would be wonderful!! :D

Of course, there is one small exception to that. I would still want chocolate to be available. :)

Let's think sensibly about this...
Fat probably has the highest energy density of any human food substance possible.
It holds ca 9 kcal (calories) per gram. 1000 kcal requires just over 111 grams of pure fat. Mouthwash is at least 90-95% water, so even if the rest of it is pure fat, you'd still need 1-2 litres (35-70 fl oz) of mouthwash liquid to get that much energy out of it. And you'd have to swallow all of that, of course! :D

Nah, there's no food energy in either of those products...

Toothpaste does taste good.

I'd rather down a billion calories of mouthwash and toothpaste then live with a dirty mouth.

Read the ingredients. We have three different kinds of toothpaste and all of them have artificial sweeteners, etc.

This is a non-issue.

Just think of the money we could save.

I dislike food. I dislike eating.

I am the exact opposite. I love food. Bicycling a lot allows me to eat like the gigantic pig that I am.

Eat to ride, ride to eat.
