Someone is bringing the Frogs over from the USA next week.
Can anyone describe his/her experience with them?

I am most interested to hear how it intereacts with walking. I have bought Shimano SPD sandals, as I cannot bear wearing normal shoes (have a bunyon on both feet). I was told that the cleats should be wearable with SPD-type sandals. Is this true? Or do you need covers, as I saw advertized somehwere.

I am also interested in how it deals with cycling on unpaved roads, I mean how does dirt interfere with clipping in again?

WOO HOO!!

Frogs on my MTB.

2 words: Love 'em.

walking is a non issue - with the cleats are recessed so you might not even notice them. I did have to modify the bottoms of my shimano shoes with a dremel though - I'm sure you will too (cleat is much wider than spd cleats).

as with anything else, they take some getting used to.

to answer your questions:
1. covers are only for road series pedals (x and zero)
2. mud shedding - EH. not great, not terrible. if this is your concern, try eggbeaters - although they have tension where frogs do not.

enjoy!
