Is it possible to put disc brakes on my 2000 raliegh serrengetti with front shocks?

to the "Will disc brakes fit my bike" section for some general info.
Check whether either the frame or fork has the two-holed, welded-on disc brake mounting plates. If the shock doesn't, you can easily switch to a shock that has them. If the frame doesn't have the plate located on the left side near the rear dropout, there are some adaptors available that work with mixed reviews.
