On my solo bike I have a 10 speed Wipperman chain with a special link which makes it easy to remove. I was thinking of installing similar on the tandem I am upgrading to 10sp with XTR derailleur and Shimano cassette. Is this chain robust enough for tandems? If the Shimano 10 speed chain would be better (in terms of shifting or durability), does it have a similar easy to undo link? Thanks.
