just wanted to put the word out that my friend's schwinn super letour was stolen last week in nyc. please
keep an eye out for it...
it was nabbed in the smith street atlantic ave area of bk.

I rode right past someone on one of those yesterday afternoon, near Dean/Smith sts.
It was piloted by a tall dude with long hair.

I remember seeing the dark colored frame and brooks saddle...was going too fast to catch any more info. Looks like the same bike, though I could be wrong.

also, what does your friend look like in case i spot someone riding this bike? i dont wanna jump someone who happens to be your friend who just recently recovered his bike.

53 cm and pretty light gearing on it at the time...

edit: my friend has short dark brown hair and is about...5'7" and answers to the name keirnan

A delivery guy from that part of Smith St told me yesterday that there's been a rash of bike thefts up there... he said he'd had two stolen in front of the restaurant.
