I try to avoid my comp teacher, so if she is at her computer then no no. If she is somewhere else, cautiously take action :D

I might glance at BF at work, but not that often anymore.... too busy this year. I mostly get on to read posts at home.

And let me say this to Chanman and Hi565...if you were in MY classes, you would not be surfing the internet and looking at Bikeforums while I was lecturing. (I am on to that big time. :p )

sad, yeah its like our school wants us to surf the internet during class, the desks have clear tops and the computer moniters are built in underneath. Its impossible for the teacher to see your screen so the only way she knows what your doing is if she hears you typing.

well its a really small highschool (513 people) but as far as i understand we get high test scores and high test scores=more money to buy lots of fancy computers

we have a smartboard in everyclass room....and those things cost over 5,000.

How about:
+ 10 points if you have been fired for looking at BF too much at work.
+ 8 if you have had the IT guys at work warn/cut-off your bikeforums.net
+6 if your boss has ever noticed/commented on it.
+4 if you feel guilty about looking at it too much at work,
+2 if you start threads at work
+1 if you are reading this at work right now.

>10 do you ever work? - GNP down 5% due to BF.net ;)

Just look at the people who are in full time school or have a full time job.
Now look at the times when they post..

I'm guilty of #8.. but that was cause I kept trying to access bikeforums when we were doing a backup of our system to an offsite location. We only have 6 available connections and I was hogging one of them for bikeforums.

I posted this in the server maintenance thread and had to vent... eh...

We just found out one of our new sales people is giving herself $10k monthly bonuses on top of her $300K salary. It was found out when one of her sales staff tried to print a budget sheet which then got stuck in the printer. He never tried to clear it up, so it ended up in our grubby hands, muwahaha.

Now, some of us are depressed and angry :crash: Cronyism is a *****.

So, now I'm back on BF during work and I refuse to bust my butt anymore for the new overpaid underachievers.

The ONE time I decided to explore the internet/bike forums at work.Well.. lets just say alittle problem arose. I work at a park (for those who don't know). We have an emergency line park visitors can call in case they have any accidents/issues. This can be unplugged and we have access to the internet. I decide theres not that many people in the park. Sooo... 'what the hell. I'm bored.' So here I am in my own world. When all of a sudden I hear a 911 call go across the radio about someone falling in the park ...My first reaction..There's some poor soul dying in my park and I'm on the ******** bike forum! I get off the net, plug the appropriate line back in, and take action..

BTW, the guy was taken away by EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
I just take books/music to work now..Bike Forums is for when I'm off work! I learned my lesson.
:roflmao:
