Posting Slow

I seem to be having a problem with the connection timing out when trying to start new threads, it's resulted in some double posts, these two threads could be combined:

Just a few observations of my own...I really have no clue why they are happening, or how to fix it, but this is just what I have seen.

I get that when posting in general...takes anywhere from one minute to 7-8minutes to make a single post. About 2/5ths of the time, I can post at a regular speed.

I have no idea why either...I go to another forum that seems to be hosted by the same hosting service (did a traceroute to verify my connection about 30 mins ago, could not connect at all....realized the IP goes through the same server hops that the other board does)....so it's kinda odd.

I think the changes I made this morning will speed up the site quite a bit, let me know if thats not the case.
