im looking into a new freeride/downhill bike for the 06 season. seems simple...BUT between ALL those componies and ALL that money...it makes it tough, so i need some help slimming it down a bit!...im looking for a FR bike with long travel, but doesn't weigh 60pds and is PERFECT for riding places like whistler, the shore, and DH courses....keep in mind im trying to stay UNDER $4000!!!!

I think they right about $3000 give or take. As for if the 66 would be good, you'll have to ask the resident Shore guy, Maelstrom, he'll let you know. Maybe he'll chime in here.
