Anyone seen a firm date for the 2006 UCI Masters Mountain Biking World Championships? I know it's coming back to Sun Peaks, BC. I thought I read it somewhere, but have checked back on the USA Cycling, NORBA Nationals, UCI and even Mondial's sites with no luck.

Was able to answer my own question - - am just posting it here in case anyone else needs to know. Found it (again) on the Mountain Bike Action magazine site, posted 11/30 along with NORBA Nationals date changes:

September 2-3 at Sun Peaks Resort, B.C. Talked to USA Cycling and qualifying consists basically of being a (Masters) warm body wanting to go and compete. If you do, you get to wear the stars and stripes to represent the U.S. Full complement of XC and DH races on the slate.
