Just curious if anyone has ordered from phil lately. I ordered a black high flange front hub from phil through my LBS, at that was a little over 2 months. My LBS says the guys at phil still can't suggest when they might be able to fill the order, -except to say "in another few weeks" :(

Call, write, or e-mail Phil Wood and ask them. I'd rather hear it from the source than get smoke blown up my ass for weeks upon weeks by the LBS.

i recently got a fantastic phil wheelset from trackstar it took awhile, but only because phil wood sent them the wrong hubs.

it seems that they send a lot of the wrong things to a lot of the wrong places at entirely the wrong times.

other than that their hubs are great and after two months of trying to get some bearings (which they ended up being out of stock on indefinitely) brent hooked me up with a very good deal on a new rear hub.

I ordered my stuff directly from Phil Wood (talked to Brent). As long as you do much of your own repairs, they don't mind direct orders... they just don't want to step on the toes of your lbs.

I ordered the exact same thing, a black phil high flange front hub, 2 weeks ago and my lbs received it and built the wheelset. Mine was also a 32 hole though, not sure what you ordered.

Got the hub! apparently there was some confusion with the order, but my LBS finally found out the problem and got it straightened out. Got me a beautiful new front wheel built up, -best money could buy, and well worth the wait :)

If people are looking for an awesome deal on Phil hubs check out the special going on at Yojimbo's through the month of Decemeber: http://yojimbosgarage.com/salesandspecials.htm

I snapped up a set of high flange Phil's at a 35% discount, Marcus rocks.

with the yojimbos discount what would that make a hubset cost?
