I have been considering buying a Trek 540 frame.

Any comments on the bike in general? Any information on geometry?

I haven't been able to find any useful information on this aluminum touring bike.

This is a very good touring bike. Lots of people ride them for commuters as well.

Only made for a year or two after Trek bought Klein, 2000-2001?). I believe that it is their Navigator frame, rebranded as a Trek. They killed it shortly thereafter. I have seen one at an LBS and it was equipped with great components. Looked very nice.
