Ric, I just found this site a couple of days ago. I've started posting this question around on recumbent boards(not all of them yet). How do I put fenders on an 05 Road with quick release front axles? Does that mean I'll have to drill a hole in the steering arm? Will that weakened it? Are the fenders stable with only one side attached? I sure would like to put fenders on it.
Interesting site.

Megaman,
I saw your post on Team Catrike site and didn't really know how to answer you. I have never seen the quick release front axles so I can't really say, I'd say your best bet would be to Call Mark Powers at Power On Cycles in Plant City (813-737-3001) if anyone would know he would. If I had to guess I'd say they make or are going to make a fender for that style setup. Again sorry I didn't get back to you off the other site.

I just assume when no one answers that they don't know the answer to my question. I will post lighter comments but for now I'm concentrating on dealing with the fender issue. I will call this guy and see if he's got an answer for me. After reading alot of posts about Catrike out there, I realize only a few trikes had this setup installed. I did find one relevent post on the Catrike site, but most of my questions weren't answered by the post.
Anyway, Ric thanks for the response. I've seen some posts go unanswered in this forum with 30,000 members, so I don't expect every post to be answered. I think that would be unreasonable.

I did finally(took me a week to get the time) get my boom adjusted for me. I test rode it in 28 degree weather. It was only about a mile and I wasn't properly dressed. There was snow in spots on the road, but I still loved it. :D freezing fingers and tears running out of my eyes and everything. :D

Megaman,
I think Mark will be able to help you,he knows and deals with Paulo at Catrike and he can get you the information you are looking for and order you what you need. I purchased my Strada from him, and he did a great repair job on my Catrike Speed. Hope too see you on the Team Catrike group in the future and maybe I'll be able to answer your next question. :)
