ok, so somebody recently posted a link to this company rapha (http://www.rapha.cc/index.php?page=94&PHPSESSID=a9d2ebcefe72601592f5ffcadc98a683), and i was turned on by their whole design aesethetic, and so i went ahead and got their magazine and a hat and i have to say both are pretty great, right down to the envelope it came in. i know they are not a "fixed gear" company, or that roleur is a fixed gear magazine, but they seem to get what i love so much about this whole phenomenon. when i first saw a track bike, i knew that it was something special. it seemed to summarize perfection in an object. anyways check out roleur if you can bear spending the ridiculous amount of money for a magazine. it's everything that the puma fixed gear 101 and animal magazine are not. it sort of reminds me of what momovelo was trying to do. also thanks to everyone who post links to far corners of the web (abstnr and dolface especially). i'm always suprised that there's something new out there all the time that relates to cycling perfection.
