There are no countries on the planet which do not cater for the cyclist. The bike you chose is of almost no importance except that it should have a low and a high gear. Get a bike for as little as £20.00 secondhand, put some paniers on it and the small amount of stuff you really must have and go go go. What if it tqkes you loinger to climb a hill or the average speed is poor? Who gives a toss? get on and go.
