I went on my first group ride today, with the San Diego Knickerbikers. Due to time constraints, I could only join them for the first part of the ride, a tour of the world-famous sculptures on the campus of UCSD. I had a lot of fun. The group was about 12-15 riders, most if not all in my age bracket, and ranged from relative newbies like me to QUITE seasoned veterans. I was one of only a couple Freds, the rest had beautiful cycling clothes.
Anyway, thanks to the SD Knickerbikers for my virgin ride, I'll be back to do it again real soon!
