Bicycle Mechanics - clean wire routing on astrale 8?

So I'm trying to figure out the best way to route my cables. So far I've got my wire wrapped aroud the right shifter cable, but I want to say the picture indicates the left/front brake cable may be better.

opinions?

Depends what side of the stem you mounted the computer on. Mines on the left so I wrapped it on the the left cable housing to the downtube then small strips of clear duct tape under the downtube. The duct tape will need to be changed occasionally.

Do you use the zip ties or just the duct tape? Performance put mine on with the zip ties, and I was just thinking this morning that the middle tie was kind of obvious. Is the duct tape clear?

Ya the bike shop put mine on with the zip ties as well. They stood out like a sore thumb. I cut all the ties off that where on the down tube ( The ones on the chain stays I've left ) and placed 3 3x5 cm piece of clear duct tape over the cable on the bottom side of the downtube. You can get the clear tape at any hardware store. The roll I have is Scotch brand transparant Duct tape. The tape also make for a cheap chain stay protector.

My bike is black, so I used black electrician's type tape to attach on the down tube. Wrapped around cable from computer bracket to down tube. I used the zip ties for the sensor area on the chainstay, but beware -- the first time I used zip ties and cranked them down too tight it cut the wire.

My bike is black and blue so careful placement of black zip ties worked well for me. Just cut the excess off.

I have a zip just above the barrel adjusters on the down tube and at the water bottle cage and just before and after the bottom bracket.

On my bike you have to really look to find the zip ties. Also zip ties come in many different sizes so I used the smallest ones I could find that were long enough to fit around the tube

I finally have it all wired up. I even inputed the circumference of the wheel.

Only problem is I can't get it to register cadence, mph, distance, nothing. I'm sure the computer is on too.

For my stoker, I taped the wire under the top tube with a piece of green electrical tape. I installed a zip tie at each end, so the tape stays in place. The zip ties (dark green) are not too visible and the tape, being underneath, is totally unvisible.

I think it gives it a clean look, doesn't bind and you don't need to use tape.I, for one, don't like the look of wrapping the computer wire around the shifter housing. It's too noticeable to me. I much prefer to run the wire along the back side of the brake housing and hold it in place with electrical tape. I run black housing so the tape is pretty much invisible. The wire then runs to the underside of the downtube and again is held in place by either black electrical tape or clear tape.
