until it happened, I never really worreid about getting doored except when riding by the paralell parking lane. so when I'm in between two lanes of traffic and a car door opens on me seconds after coming to a stop for a red light, I didn't even know what happened. luckily (I guess) the door was opened into me instead of me smashing into into it. thankfully I wasn't actually hurt and nothing got effed up on the bike.
funny note, though. I get thrown into the next lane, and like I said, I didn't even know what happened. my buddy who was riding with me was like, "you just got doored," and apparently, my response to the woman who was trying to get out of her car was just to yell "you stupid b!tch!"
