Training & Nutrition - Performance Testing Labs?
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I know there are some colleges that have labs for tests like VO2 max and the like... but does anyone have more info on the testing/studies? (particularly in the mid-atlantic or northeast US)
I heard UCONN has a Human Performance Lab, but didn't hear much else.
Thanks for any info or advice you have on finding free testing!
I don't know any offhand over there, but a google search will probably turn up something for ya.
My school DeSales University, in PA, has a performance testing lab. I know they're currently looking for subjects to preform underwater body composition testing as well as V02 Max & lactic threshold. Here's a link: http://www.desales.edu/default.aspx?pageid=308 for contacts and more info.
I'm going to check that out, since I have to be in Pennsylvania in January...
Thanks Velo! :) Whooooooooooo!!!!
